The Solo jump is a one-day program. You train from 10 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m., and weather permitting, jump the same day. Your main parachute is activated as you leave the airplane, and you fly your own parachute down to the ground with the help of a coach on a radio. Training for a Tandem jump is only a half hour. You and your instructor make your whole skydive harnessed together. You do a long freefall, then your instructor opens the parachute and the two of you fly it down to the ground together. We are open weekends and holidays through most of the year. We also fly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays in July and August.
